Styling Tips

The right amount of hair makes all the difference between a style that lies flat and one that moves the way it should. Density, length and the finish you're after all affect how many bundles you'll need — here's a general guide to help you plan your order. This guide is based on our standard 100g bundles.

Bob or Lob (chin-length) 2 bundles
Shoulder-Length, Natural Volume 2–3 bundles
Mid-Back Length, Fuller Body 3 bundles
Long, Voluminous Blow-Out roughly 4 bundles
Extra-Long or Glam, Maximum Volume 4–5 bundles

Using 150g bundles instead? You'll typically need fewer — 150g carries 1.5x the hair of a 100g bundle, so expect to save roughly one bundle per look.

Installing with a closure or frontal? Add one closure or frontal on top of your bundle count for a seamless, natural-looking finish.

Always start with slightly more hair than you think you'll need — it's easier to work with fullness than to stretch out thin ends. Finer textures and tighter curl patterns can read as less voluminous, so consider sizing up. Use a heat protectant and keep tools below 180°C (356°F) to protect your hair's integrity over time.

Not sure which length to choose? Check our Hair Length Guide for reference before you buy.
